Eurowings Group hits record heights with 10 million passengers and €900 million turnover.

This year Eurowings Luftverkehrs AG will be marking a number of records in the company's history. This business year for example 200 new jobs have been created in the Eurowings Group, meaning that in total around 2,400 people are now employed for both airlines.

The company entered 32 aircraft into service in its Regional sector and 27 in its Germanwings no-frills operation. Both airlines' fleets were in the air for a combined total of some 200,000 hours. Current turnover estimates are forecast to hit record levels of around €900 million, and with around 10 million passengers Eurowings and Germanwings had more passengers in 2007 than at any time in the company's entire history.
