April 2007 | Eurowings on the right track

In the last financial year the Eurowings Group made considerable progress and is on the right track. Passenger numbers increased by a satisfying 25% to almost 10 million and turnover went up by 26.2% to 758.9 million euros, thus further enhancing the company’s market position. All this information comes from Eurowings’s annual business report.

The no frills segment has yet again proved itself to be a driving force in growth with an increase of 31% to 7.1 million passengers. In the first year after restructuring the regional fleet carried 2.5 million passengers, which is an increase of 10% on the previous year. Despite higher fuel costs our operational results have again been very solid.
