Success, without compromise - Eurowings achieved IOSA Registration for the third time. Eurowings has been the first German airline which has undergone an IOSA according the newest standards, applicable since 1st of July this year.

Eurowings Quality Department has significantly controlled the preparation for the renewal audit - even if they now can breathe a sigh, it was no picnic.

During the 27th and the 31st of July the five auditors of SH&E have been in to check and to judge over 900 given standards from IATA. The auditors convinced themselves about the practical implementation of the standards during a flight in the cockpit and in the cabin, a simulator session in Berlin, at the maintenance station in Nuremberg and at the Eurowings station in Muenster.

At the end, again a big tribute has been given by the SH&E Lead Auditor to the entire team. The complete team of auditors confirmed that the standards focusing on interface communication work are very strong within Eurowings. This commendation now is about to be given to all those which have worked very committed during the last months. Without the really good teamwork it would not have been possible to reach the final goal. A team of about ten colleagues have prepared the audit in the forefront. But they found full support with all other employees of the other individual departments. Now - A bit of breathe a sigh and again it starts, passing IOSA means being prior IOSA.
